Continuing on our Journey to explore Taipei!

Day 3 - 21 July 07

This morning, we went to Longshan Temple. The temple is beautiful. You can see very colourful cravings and statutes of animals on its walls and rooftop. There is a small waterfall also.

We went to Hou Huo Che Zhan located at Huayin St near Taipei Main Stn...

Map of Hou Huo Che Zhan

Bought 2 bags and 1 laptop bag from there... The staff are super nice... And I got the laptop bag for around SGD20... cheap cheap!!!! 4 of us got alot of bags. I think around 10 bags. The shop is near exit 7 of the Taipei City Mall. And I bought some cosmetics and beauty products from a shop near Jia Dou Li on the map. The cosmetics are way cheaper than those sold in Taiwan Watsons or Jpmon.com.

Took a pic of the Taipei City Mall. Didn't take it the day before.

We went to Wufenpu by railway to Sungshan Railway Stn. We took the railway at Taipei Main station. We were taking the train towards the Yilan direction. We waited for quite awhile, think 30-40mins for the train. And the ride was around 15-20mins.

There are signs showing the direction to Wufenpu. It is just right opposite the stn's entrance .

See their traffic lights are animated. And the seconds are way longer than ours.

Attached a map of Wufenpu. From the map, you can see that you can also take Jie Yun aka MRT to Hou Shan Pi Stn. Which I think is around the same time as the railway train.

If you are medium size, you be able to find alot of stuff over there. And bargaining is a must over there. There are alot of shops in Wufenpu like our Bugis Village. And you can see bags of clothing on the floor. Wufenpu is more like a wholesale market for fashion apparels and accesories. I was already super tired by then at Wufenpu.

We were so hungry and they finally reluctantly willing to leave Wufenpu for dinner at Raohe Night Market. There is a temple right in front of the entrance of Raohe Night Market.

We had mango ice, Tian Bu La, fried mushrooms, Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang aka Big Sausage Wrapped Small Sausage and the best over there would be a shop selling noodles called Da Beng Guo... Very nice!! Yummy!! Too bad I forgot to take a pic of the noodles. Only took a pic of the wooden banner on the wall.

We were so tired as usual. And we went back to hotel. On the way, I went to buy Mister Donut to try. I also ate a Dunkin Donut the day before. Both are nice. Mister Donut is more unique which I have yet to see in Singapore. It is less oily and have many unique flavours. You can check on it through their website. Just google it.
